Betty M. Brown, 83, of Decatur passed away at 3:50 p.m.,Monday July 16, 2012 in her residence.
A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.until time of service. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown.
Betty was born onMay 25, 1929 in Pinckneyville, IL the daughter of Raymond and Ruth E. (Mulligan) Cheshier. She was a retired inspector from Akorn Pharmaceuticals. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving is her daughter: Vicky J. Lambert ofDecatur; son: Mark Brown and his wife Robin of Oakley; sister: Nancy J. Prien and her husband John of Decatur; grandchildren: Michelle L. McCord and her husband Justin, Michael A. Lambert Jr. And his wife Nikki, and Raymond E Lambert and his wife Lisa; great grandchildren: Victoria M. McCord, Ashley M. McCord, Austin M. Lambert, Trevor A. Lambert, Hunter E. Lambert and Abby R. Lambert; great-great grandson: Brayden L. Akins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, great granddaughter: Alyessa M. Lambert and son-in-law: Mike Lambert Sr.
